At Ogle Law, We Are Proud to Support Our Community
Giving Back Matters
Our team at Ogle Law has strong ties to the Florida community. We are inspired by the growth of this state and the cultural diversity that makes it unlike any other place in the country. This creates a social dynamic that is most fascinating, as nearly everyone is a newcomer. Some of what we are renowned for is the vast tourism industry, the orange and citrus crops, winter vegetables, the largest population of retirees, and the Space Center. As the founder of Ogle Law LLC., I have a desire to strengthen my ties with this community by contributing wherever there is a need. It is an opportunity to have a positive impact on the future of this community by helping others that are less fortunate or do not have a voice.
Our Community Giving Projects
Community Outreach Programs
Toys for Tots is a program that is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserves, distributing toys to children for Christmas, whose parents are unable to afford gifts. At Ogle Law, we support and participate annually by campaigning for donations of toys for this program.
Second Harvest Food bank distributes meals to families in Central Florida through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers, day cares, and more. Ogle Law has an annual winter food drive to make a difference in the lives of low-income families by supplementing food during the holidays.
Attorney William Ogle is a licensed pilot and a member of a Pilot’s Association that assists as needed during emergency situations, such as natural disasters, to help the affected people and communities.
Attorney William Ogle is proud to teach and mentor future lawyers at the University Of Florida School Of Law. He finds this work extremely rewarding and always looks forward to the opportunity to mentor law students as they prepare for their future.
Monetary and Charitable Giving
Ogle Law LLC., has made significant contributions to support food relief efforts for the affected citizens of Haiti. Our law firm contributed to the support of our Gulf Coast families that were displaced after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Pro Bono Services
Pro Bono legal work is offered on a case by case basis by Ogle Law for individuals, charities, or community groups that are unable to afford legal services. Some of our legal work has been to assist families that face foreclosures of their homes.
Pro Bono legal services have been provided to advocate for environmental issues to protect the management of our lands. A water bottling company filed for a permit to build a factory next to the beautiful 75-mile Santa Fe River in northern Florida. The residents in that area opposed the factory and the company challenged the residents in court. Ogle Law intervened on the resident’s behalf and the company dismissed the case.
In another environmental case, a cement company filed for a permit to build a factory next to the Ichetucknee River, which is a wildlife haven in a serene setting. An organization called Save Our Suwannee contacted Attorney William Ogle for volunteer legal support. With the assistance of Ogle Law and the Attorney General of the State of Florida, a petition was filed for an opposition in court and the building of the factory was blocked.
We Are Committed to Community Service
At Ogle Law LLC., we are always seeking to expand our community network to benefit the families in the community. The Sunshine State has a lot to offer, as it blends the unique cultures of people from other states and foreign countries. Most of all, it is our home and we are compelled to support meaningful causes that will benefit families in need. If you are seeking legal services or if you need assistance with a worthy project, contact us at (386) 253-2500. Ogle Law has offices in Daytona Beach and Gainesville, Florida.
